Appreciation - A Rhapsody Of Delight

​What we do very well is appreciating. Have you noticed, when we appreciate we feel very good.

Appreciation isn't saying "thank you" rather it is an energetic digestion of the world. Appreciating is feeling our existence in its fullness.

A spiritual practice is not given as an end in itself, practice is so that we can fully show up for this life. It is simplicity.

​ When you eat, smell the food, feast your eyes on it, let the taste buds dance. Enjoyment is the best thank you. 

Acknowledge Sun Moon and Earth who have come together with human energy, to bring this to your plate. Feast as if it were your first and last moment.

Every human activity is transformed by conscious appreciation and feeling.

It is difficult for most of us to sit in a cave in the Himalayas, or whatever our concept is of spiritual practice. We can though feel our feet on the Earth. Our breath can be a rhapsody of delight rather than than an unconscious factor.

Appreciation like a muscle is strengthened and works better through exercise. 

There is much in this garden of life. What isn't used and maintained gives way to atrophy and entropy.

This is your time. The harvest is here, the best time to gather
