Accept yourself. Until we accept ourselves, how can we love ourselves? In acceptance that mystery that is love is revealed.
Love comes in many hues, welcome them all.
In bars and forums they argue about love, whilst the children and wise ones, simply smile.
Enlightenment is simple acceptance of what is.
Your judgements of your self and others, do not help you excel. You see the beauty of the tree, or the jaguar, of nature, yet you deny your own beauty.
Do not listen to those voices of fear and self-importance, that compare. You are incomparable. You are unique. That is simply how it is.
Simply enjoy, relax, feel this unique moment that is arising and descending. A moment, a gift just for you.
Unearth that jewel of being within you. You will see yourself and others in a new light, that accents their wonder.
What we do very well is appreciating. Have you noticed, when we appreciate we feel very good.
Appreciation isn't saying "thank you" rather it is an energetic digestion of the world. Appreciating is feeling our existence in its fullness.
A spiritual practice is not given as an end in itself, practice is so that we can fully show up for this life. It is simplicity.
When you eat, smell the food, feast your eyes on it, let the taste buds dance. Enjoyment is the best thank you.
Acknowledge Sun Moon and Earth who have come together with human energy, to bring this to your plate. Feast as if it were your first and last moment.
Every human activity is transformed by conscious appreciation and feeling.
It is difficult for most of us to sit in a cave in the Himalayas, or whatever our concept is of spiritual practice. We can though feel our feet on the Earth. Our breath can be a rhapsody of delight rather than than an unconscious factor.
Appreciation like a muscle is strengthened and works better through exercise.
There is much in this garden of life. What isn't used and maintained gives way to atrophy and entropy.
This is your time. The harvest is here, the best time to gather
Carlos Castaneda relayed the concept of The Wheel of Time to us.
What is The Wheel of Time and what are it’s furrows of existence? Silence and Dreaming have given me a take on that, which I’d like to share.
Simply put there are imperatives that compel us in one way of living.
It is like a groove, a furrow that we follow through time. We can say it is genetic inheritance and a training usually within that inheritance.
Nature by default grows beings and their lives in what can be called a furrow or groove. We know the phrase that fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Yet humans are strange creatures, largely in our infancy. We are at a time of great change and possibilities that have been realised by sages, throughout our history, these are now realisable by us all.
We have reason, and our reason is becoming exercised. Our lives are not so hard. We have more leisure, more tools to assist us.
Humans are beginning to examine their perceptions, their emotions, their feelings.
We are beginning to be able to separate reason from emotion and feeling.
Many are beginning to understand how they are creating the realities of their lives. Many are becoming conscious of untapped facets of their nature.
Through exploration, we find Will, Unbending Intent. A force that is both responsible for us being here and is at our service.
This is why service has always been seen and spoken of as the fastest way to evolve. It is one of the universe’s deepest secrets.
We are trapped within the Wheel of Time by our learned, habitual behaviour.
This is why fluidity, adaptability is looked on by many as one of our best characteristics for change.
Carlos gave us physical exercises, that he called Not Doings, that had as their Intent to interrupt our habitual behaviour.
One of these was The Wheel of Time. The perceptual fluidity to accept the gift of the age, requires doing new things.
If we can grab the Wheel of Time and turn it to a new furrow, by cultivating new thought, feelings, intents and actions then we catapult ourselves into a new existence.
This is a movement of perception, or as Carlos would say, the assemblage point, where perception is assembled, to another place.
We have linear concepts, that allows us to perceive Time as past, present and future. This is something though that is created with that linear awareness. We are t more than that linear awareness.
Time is incalculable in its immensity, a thought of the universe, an intensity beyond the linear.
Carlos said Time is Intent or elastic to its own intensity. What can that mean for us?
Through Silence and Dreaming, we begin to align with the force that is Time and understand that Time doesn’t move, it is like Space, we move through it, or at least have the sensation of doing so.
Both Silence and Dreaming are the door to fluidity to exercise the facets of our awareness, hidden to us by our habituation to the past.
Conscious Dreamers come to the knowledge of other furrows of existence that they operate in and the immensity that these furrows reflect.
It can be very daunting, coming into a Dream where everyone knows you, whilst you have only a vague recollection of them.
Yet experienced Dreamers know they occupy several furrows of existence and that their nature is pristine, in that it is untouched by these furrows.
In these different timelines for many the common powers of lucid dreaming, like flying etc rescind, just as they do in daily life.
However there are those Dreamers that have gone beyond, the individual criteria for all realms, They keep these powers.
This is the education many of us are receiving at the moment.
The Universe is full of undreamed possibilities. Life Dreams them in the Wheel of Time.
These possibilities always exist, they are claimed for us by our attention.
We have reached a nexus point in Time.
Is it to be extinction for us or an understanding of our nature beyond the confines of fear?
Life holds the possibility of inconceivable transformation for us.
Balance your fear and awe at existence.
Steady yourself. Grab the Wheel of Time and turn it.
This Wheel is lubricated by Intent itself.
Now is the Time of Its turning.
You know nothing by being told. This holds true even if the writer or speaker has accurate information.
Whatever information you might learn about India, the reality of India can only be realised by going there.
In this age of communication and ideas, much of the information especially in media is speculation, inaccurate or written by people that have their own agendas.
All paths have an outer and inner layer. The purpose of the outer layer, is to gather and order our perception of our world. So that we can approach that inner layer and experience it.
This process assuages our fear so that we can act. Its as if we were forging a coin of everything we have identified and through doing so develop the courage to gamble on that which is beyond our description, or even of describing.
Our mythology around death, has us paying the ferryman with a coin to cross the river of death, the river Styx.
Close your eyes, breathe, enter into that forge that is inside you and mint that coin of freedom, from all that calls your attention away.
Enter the volcano of your being, what is real will never be destroyed.
We have two basic facets to our awareness. For well-being and growth both facets need addressing.
One side is our mysterious side, the other is the realm of reason.
Our mysterious side, our female side is our left side, the unknown. It is the centre of intuition and is a non-linear awareness.
The right side is host to our linear awareness, a world that has been ordered according to a system. It is known as our male side.
Adepts have expanded their descriptions and developed new systems. Systems that cross-culturally basically agree on many aspects of awareness.
Our left side is the side of dreaming and silence. It is largely invisible to our right side awareness, reason. In fact our reason, our self-chatter, is the barrier to this other facet of our awareness.
We are creatures of reason. However our reason needs ordering before it is ready for expansion.
Before the age of reason the world was lost to superstition. In these times it is lost to the rational.
Adepts have a very pragmatic way of working with the two bodies, the left and right.
We can liken it to a metalworker who shapes the pot on an anvil of a particular shape and beats with a precise hammer, created for the job.
The anvil is dreaming, awareness practices and silence. Dreaming sets an intent for expansion.
The hammer is knowledge of the minutiae of our lives, through direct observation. It leads to the conscious manipulation of behaviour to become more available and open to our nature. A nature beyond the duality of the world we inhabit.
The practices of awareness are more available than they have ever been. There is a great need for them in this crazy world.
Make use of what is available, discover a place of well-being within you, beyond the machinations of the world and shine out your light and understanding.
There is a place so subtle and indescribable that is too frolicsome to be identified as anywhere, or anything. Its presence imbues all that exists with vibration, life and consciousness.
When we stop naming and describing the world, the world falls away and what fills us, is this presence.
Turn down the volume of the world and witness that incredible symphony of being that arises in you.
This is a place of clarity, of simplicity, of understanding and harmony. Here now is where it and you exists. As they come together what a joy, what a fulfilment, what a peace in simple being.
This place is calling us.
We are in the physical to get physical. Giving attention to the mind/body with consistency opens us and activates the astral or energy body.
This energy body is available to us all. Developing the energy body has always been practiced by adepts. Now it is our turn.
Consciousness, In whatever way we practice it, is the door to our realisation of those parts of us, that remain hidden.
Mood follows posture and posture follows mood, is a powerful aphorism that Carlos Castaneda lived by. He invited others to do the same.
Stretch, shake the body, breathe deeply. Develop postures of body and breath, that bring out the best in you.
We are Energy beings. Climbing the spirals of energy, that are activated with attention, brings us to ourselves, in all of our wonder.
Sometimes the peak of the mountain, that we dream of standing on seems so far away. The body can be tired, the elements daunting. We can become weary, disillusioned and doubt our ability to accomplish our goal.
Life has ups and downs. Sometimes we feel invincible, sometimes vulnerable. This is how it is. Despite these fluctuations we have fulfilled so many yearnings in our lives.
Every trekker knows sometimes the journey will be arduous, difficult and dangerous. It is the nature, of high altitude trekking.
Common whilst trekking is to see discarded luggage by the side of the path. An arduous journey shows us what is necessary and what to let go of. Trekkers realise what is expedient, to accomplish the journey.
Trekkers know all journeys are accomplished step by step. They return to simplicity. Sometimes one breath, one step and then a breath or two to rest.
Little oxygen, snow, ice, steep inclines, ravines, crevices and high winds may assail trekkers. Necessity teaches them to pick themselves up after poorly navigating obstacles, or falling. Necessity dictates it. This is the adventure.
Trekking is a good metaphor. It hints at the roots of pilgrimage embodying physicality.
It embraces the freedom of open space and timelessness. It reflects that pilgrimage to the heart from which all may be explored. Our struggles, triumphs, and failures are par for the course.
The peak may be far. Yet there is Earth under our feet, Sky above our head. Life fills us. We chose this journey and will choose others.
Particularly since the 1960’s people have travelled off the beaten track, with an intent to learn. They have met Yogi’s and Shamans from around the world and been initiated into many ideas and practices that intend and support conscious human evolution.
As they have become practitioners of these arts, consciousness begins to reveal and nurture itself. As part of this enhancement of consciousness then states of harmony, inner silence, trance and lucid dreaming become accessible.
The exploration of the wonders of consciousness are not new to the world. Particularly in western civilization there has been little focus on it except within monasteries or with mystics and a few rare individuals. There are classic books from the last few hundred years, that talk about the importance of this subject for humankind.
Many artists, scientists and visionaries of the western world have admitted that some of their greatest achievements were resolved in dreaming. Einstein is famous for the theory of relativity that came to him in dreaming. In ancient societies dreams were recognized as the resource they are. Dreamers and interpreters of dreams were rewarded.
Functional medicine tells us that a healthy brain dreams and remembers its dreams. As we become healthier in mind body and spirit, then we are called to this possibility.
Many ancient civilizations view life as a dream. Those familiar with yoga will know the word Maya or the illusion of the apparent world. This is an idea that is supported by cutting-edge science.
Dreams are created in the same way. They’re our projection, yet because the dreaming environment is so much more fluid, we can fast track a lot of exploration of our psyche. We can evolve. This is true for all dreamers but for lucid dreamers this is exponentially increased.
Lucid dreamers have come to these ideas because they note that when they awaken in their dreams, the world is also seemingly solid. They also note that before lucidity, we are beguiled into thinking our dreams are real.
Just as in this reality, this agreement of waking life is real to us, there are other agreements amongst beings that support worlds like our own. Advanced lucid dreamers have access to these worlds and are privy to unimaginable energy and ideas that provide guidance in living in wisdom and creativity.
This workshop uses both modern techniques and practices that have been used and handed down by ancient cultures. Lucid dreaming is possible for all, with some focus and endeavour.
It is interesting that we use the word dream, like idea or wish. We may say I dream of going to India for my travels.
There is a magical saying “as above so below, as within so without.” There is a correlation between our night-time and daily awareness. Becoming a conscious creator in your night-time awareness is the perfect arena to hone your skills in literally living the life of your dreams.
We were delighted to have some of you share our Christmas Event with us. We intend to have more free events throughout 2018.
Now of course on everyone’s mind is the New Year. What will 2018 bring us? How much control do we have over the events in our life?
If we were to initiate any project, then starting from a clean slate always assists us in our endeavour.
According to a practice we have found useful, we suggest that at this time of year, we bring some clarity and purpose to our lives. We can clean our homes. Recycle anything we don’t need. Detach and look at what we did in 2017, what worked and what didn’t? Taking an inventory of our life brings us fresh energy.
New Year traditionally has us making New Year’s Resolutions. Often they have the best of intentions, which in many cases falter.
Clearing our lives of what has become irrelevant to our dream empowers us to go forward strategically and elegantly. Uncluttered we liberate a flow of Intent.
Little steps are what we encourage. A little step taken gives us courage to take another. We build up some momentum.
Begin to Dream. What position would I like to be in a year, in six months, in three months, in one month, in one week? What steps can I take today that will enhance my journey to living my Dreams?
Our events all have at their heart, time-tested practices, that do give us more energy, more clarity, more focus and bring us to detachment and appreciation.
From here we can begin to take responsibility for our individual lives as we harmonize with that force that has Intended us here.
January starts with looking at our cyclical existence and intending conscious awareness in the Magical Full Moon Ceremony.
We invite you to the Sacred Cacao Ceremony, a place to clear the heart and open it to Unconditional Love. Cacao is a power plant, a gentle healer and opener. It gives an incredible boost to all our activities.
Unveil the Full Body Orgasm and Lucid in London are fully booked in the beginning of January. We will be continuing with these events throughout the year.
Join Gammadian in his evening talk on How Psychedelic Plants Enhance Perception in Old Street, Shoreditch on 12th Feb 2018. This we hope will be the beginning of series of talks on intriguing subjects like lucid dreaming, enhancing awareness and more.
We look forward to seeing you.
Wishing you a prosperous, purposeful, and enchanted New Year.
Gammadian and Ena
