Twenty years ago, I’d reached a level in my practice where I was lucid dreaming near every night having OBE’s and having others witness acts of power.
Being a teacher of Yoga and Sorcery Passes, people started asking me to to teach them lucid dreaming and OBE.
Some of my students excelled at dreaming by applying the practices of Carlos Castaneda, others though they were extraordinary practitioners didn’t. I started researching techniques from La Berge, Monroe and others that were investigating this work.
I considered my own experience. I had gone from not dreaming, to regularly dreaming lucidly, simply by sitting in silence practice and doing Passes.
When I was 16, I was living on the street, mostly though I’d be partying all night at other people’s places, so it was never a particular hardship.
I got arrested for smoking pot and possessing LSD and was sentenced to 3 months in a detention centre. I went from living a free life, hanging out with the psychedelic scene, to a harsh army style regime. Many inmates went to bed crying and woke up crying. Soon after they banned these camps with their short, sharp shock.
The days were long and arduous. Parade at 5am, work and army style training until sixpm , with draconian punishments for poor performance. There was no smoking. For inmates talk was banned, only allowed after meals in the evening for half an hour. I was exhausted.
I woke from my bed, feeling energised. I looked down and there was my body lying in bed. In jail people always repeat the aphorism “you can’t imprison a free man.” I laughed, it was true.
I intended being outside the bars and I was, looking into the cell from outside, gazing at my body. I was hugely excited, I rose into the air and hovered over the fence. The camp looked like any prison camp from a war movie and was originally built for that purpose. Watchtowers were all around.
I decided to go and see my girlfriend. I hovered in the air and rose beyond the fence. I was free. Amazingly the camp was in a beautiful location. It was stunning flying over the English countryside, over forests, meadows and rivers.
I knew my girlfriend’s house and passed through the window, into her bedroom. She was asleep in bed. I attempted to wake her but although I looked solid to myself I was unable to interact with her physically.
I gazed at her a long time and attempted many manoeuvres to communicate with her, though seemingly to no avail.
I considered my options, I didn’t want to return to the detention centre but I came to the conclusion I would have to. I said goodbye to my girlfriend.
It was exhilarating flying back, I felt empowered by my decision to return. It was strange though coming up the valley and seeing the camp. I flew over the fence and stood outside my cell, gazing through the bars to my sleeping body. I passed through the wall, took a last look at my sleeping body and merged with it.
A few days later I got a letter from my girlfriend. She wrote that she experienced a dream that was not a dream. I had come into her bedroom at night and attempted to wake her. She witnessed my attempts to communicate with her.
The one thing that struck me when I was considering ways of empowering others to lucid dream, was that the main periods of my life when I had OBE’s and lucid dreams were when I had started acting in new ways.
In jail this had been through going from a leisurely lifestyle, to a military style environment. Other times had been through embarking on unusual endeavours or trainings. New actions especially those that go beyond the social contract, empower and enhance awareness.
Key I realised was not-doing. Not doings is both a term used for series of movements and for unusual activities with an intent to interrupt habitual behaviour.
I started experimenting to empower my own dreaming through not-doings and in my dream classes and workshops, I began to include series of Not-Doings and activities, like walking backwards or blindfolded.
Carlos told us that all of the Not-Doings had a Code to them, a special activation by rearranging the order of the Passes in conjunction with other movements. At the end of Carlos life he taught The Code to one of the Not-Doing series called On the Run.
I was empowered to teach the Seers Code and have included it in many trainings since. Eventually, demand got me to offer it as an online course. It has been very successfully received and the feedback has been wonderful.
Although the course has a value of hundreds of pounds, it is a course that will set you up for life, during lockdown we have offered the course by donation. From the 21st of June this offer will finish.
Take advantage of this offer. You will receive many benefits. Consciously living and taking responsibility for your life is empowering.
Sleep is the cousin of death, we can be unconscious, neither lucid or remembering our dreams or we can use our dreams to be lucid and travel in spirit worlds, to hone our awareness.
If you aspire to a conscious death, lead a conscious life. The Seers Code will serve you well in your endeavour.
